Moscone Center is pleased to coordinate a sorting program for your event, which improves the event’s overall diversion rate.  Moscone Center strongly encourages on-site sorting on show days with large catered functions hosting more than 2,500 attendees.  Onsite sorting on the docks is recommended to maximize the diversion rate for your event by capturing more recyclables generated from the exhibit floor and food functions - mixed paper, beverage bottles and cans, mixed cardboard, and more.  Moscone Center Recycling will assign 2-3 sorters per dock from 10:00am-6:00pm to capture and clean recyclables, compostables, and waste streams.
