We realize that security concerns vary for each event. If you have specific concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. As a convention center, we are well versed in dealing with protests and demonstrations. The facility has an elevated security plan that we may utilize in full, or in part, when necessary. There are also security measures that you, as the event host, can take to limit the possibility of demonstrators gaining entrance into the facility or seriously disrupting your event.  

If the event has a history of demonstrations or threats to attendees or industry leaders we will work with your Security team as well as SFPD to work together to address on-site issues.

Please forward a list of any VIPs or controversial figures that will speak at, attend, or be associated with the event. Moscone Center Security Managers will work with your Security team to ensure appropriate paths of travel and entry/exit plans.
